The actress is a living in New York City. Chando went to Manhattan College and became an actor prior to that. Chando played the character of Maddie Coleman on the television soap opera As the World turns, which she performed from 2005 until 2007 as well as for a few months, beginning in the latter part of 2009. Alexandra debuted in 2002 with House Blend in 2002 as Jenna Harper. The following year, she was cast on the American soap opera on TV which airs in CBS, As the World Turns in the role of Maddie Coleman. Chando first appeared on TV in True life (an American documentary) at the end of 2009. Then, in 2009 she was a guest on Sherri, a TV show. Chando also played Annabelle in two episodes Glory Daze, an American comedy and drama television show. She has also appeared on Castle, Hindsight and Dead People.
