Stevie Wonder signed a 13 million dollars MoTown Records contract in 1972. Stevie Wonder was entitled to a higher royalty rate as well as more creative control and rights over his songs. This was a unique chance for artists of the time. This contract unleashed Wonder's songs to discuss controversial topics such as war, poverty, drugs, and politics.Stevie is famous for his political songs such as, You Haven't Done Nothing which was a political attack at Richard Nixon. His 1972 album, Music Of My Mind was the first album to be released under his brand new MoTown contract. Talking Book was Stevie Wonder's album that was released in the late year of 1972. It is still an important piece of music. It included Superstition as the most popular song.
